The Grocery Wholesale Market is still developing and aims at further expanding of its activity to get new producers on the right bank of Warsaw and north - east part of Mazowsze Region. The Market wants to strengthen its market position especially on the left bank of Warsaw groceries market.

The Wholesale Market adapts to the current standards and quality requirements for wholesale markets in Europe.

As a result of modern investments there were built new, suited to the HACCP requirements, trade areas designed as groceries wholesale markets. These activities contribute to the further Market development towards modern wholesale market which offers not only high quality products but also food safety standards.

The Grocery Wholesale Market intends to concentrate on the development of fruit and vegetables market in order to increase its turnover in this branch. For this reason there were opened two pavilions - 3500m2 both. Then the Wholesale Market is planning to make available next pavilions (2000 - 3000 m2).

It is also planned to increase other fresh products' turnover for example meat and fish. In this connection the Managing Board of the Market decided to build next pavilions. There is a chance to refinance half of these investments from Sectoral Operational Programmes.

Wholesale markets exist all over the world and succeed in relation to other ways of distribution. Polish wholesale markets are still developing therefore it is essential to model on foreign markets. European markets have a very good name and their development is financed by Structural Funds. Products, which are offered at these wholesale markets, are characterized by the highest quality.

Our Wholesale Market intends to keep pace with these European modern markets and follow them. It also plans to finance new investments from European financial resources.
